"Christmas In April"-April 27, 2002
Help St. Francis preserve and revitalize a house in our community.  Together let us assure that low-income homeowners, particularly those, who are elderly, disabled, and families with children, live in warmth, safety and independence.  When you volunteer with St. Francis on the Christmas in April effort you are committing to serve for just one day, at just one house with about 25 other awesome volunteers from St. Francis, and the Notre Dame Club of Ann Arbor.   Also, LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED.  If you can't work the whole day, that's fine. And you don't have to be a skilled tradesman or particularly handy to volunteer. There will be professionals on hand to guide and instruct us. If you want to help but don't want to get your hands dirty, volunteer to pick-up and deliver the food at lunchtime.  It only takes a little of your time and your efforts will be greatly appreciated by the workers. Tom Mussio of Ann Arbor All Trades (994-8421) is an organizer of this project.

The Christmas in April effort will be on Saturday, April 27, 2002 - 8AM to 4PM.
